Admissions
Overview
The St. Luke’s Nursing Program is structured on a 3 year and 2 summer academic calendar. As this is a slightly reduced timeline to graduation compared to the “average” American degree based program, our application counselors will be focusing initially on applicants with established science credits. These science credits could include Chemistry, Biology, Psych related sciences and/or credits earned in information technology classes. Generally, some form of “honors”, or advanced placement credit will be preferred in these types of courses for those applicants coming right out of high-school.
If an applicant does not have this course work included in their previous academic curriculums, but still qualifies for the college’s school, additional coursework may need to be made up outside of the curriculum listed below. Please speak to one our student applicant counsellors for details.
Admission Criteria
In addition to the Science courses described above, St. Luke’s will be requiring an acceptable GPA in all pertinent coursework as well as above average SAT scores from those applying straight from high-school. References will also be important.
Medical Exam
A comprehensive medical exam is required and will be included in all applications.
Student Visas
Securing a Philippine Student Visa (9F) is a fairly straight forward process that will require the gathering of documents including an updated passport, birth certificates and the like. The first step in the process however, is gaining acceptance to the College. When this is accomplished with St. Luke’s, our counsellor’s will advise you on your steps towards securing your student Visa.
